Take a Hike

We will be hiking the Cactus Forest Trail in Saguaro National Park East. The hike starts near the Visitor’s Center. It is basically a flat ramble across the desert, through many varieties of cacti and past some old lime kilns. We will hike approximately 8 miles total. This is out and back on the same trail. Be sure to layer clothing, wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water as the hike is all in the sun. Wear hiking boots. Hiking sticks help maintain balance. Pack a snack.
