Pickleball Class Offered with Flexible Scheduling

A sign-up sheet is on the activities board in the clubhouse. Pickleball is a hybrid of tennis, badminton and table tennis, played on a court a quarter the size of a tennis court. The smaller area is perfect for seniors who want to stay active but is much easier on the joints and lungs than tennis. This is a two-day introductory class (1 – 2 hours each day). You will learn the rules, basic shots, and basic strategy of the game the first day and play several games on the second day. Paddles and balls will be provided. You should wear court shoes and bring a hat or visor, sun glasses, and drinking water. The classes are free to members of the Pickleball Club. If you are not currently a member of the Club, annual dues are $5 per year. Normal club winter playing times is from 9:00 – 11:00, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
