M&M

The M&M group will be heading out to St. David which is outside of Benson.  We will be looking for bladed selenite and banded rhyolite.  The selenite is said to be found in loose sandy soil, with the best specimens found by digging.  We will be leaving from the clubhouse on Jan. 9, 2014 at 8:00am.  It should take about an hour’s drive.  So bring a lunch and appropriate tools and clothing and we will spend another fun filled day in the Arizona desert.  Any questions, please contact Tom M. at 520-207-0140
