ASARCO Mine Tour

Free ASARCO Tour of the Mission Mine Complex. Don’t miss your opportunity to visit a working open-pit copper mine. On the tour you’ll see the workings of an open -pit and the process of the mill extraction copper mines. One stop on the tour is at the Open-Pit Viewpoint and driving up to a couple of tailing facilities where dirt and more from the pit is deposited. Due to lim-ited seating on the bus, the first 38 sign-ups will attend. Sorry no guests, only Ran-cho Resort residents. Don’t forget your name tag it will be required to get on the bus. Please meet in the lobby by 8am as the bus is leaving at 8:30am SHARP. Sign – up in the lobby.
